These are the different pictures of roughly what the robot will look like. The exact size of this prototype is not up to scale, but essentially there will be an exterior part that will protect the interior of the robot. The robot’s interior will be a bit more complicated in the sense that there will be more cameras, sensors, and other signals to allow it to function properly.
UPDATE:
We had initially planned for this robot to be solar operated, however, we changed our decision. This change was because we envisioned a more mechanical function, and all of our research was relating to a mechanical functioning robot. Our new prototype will be an entire different style. To begin, it will be a vertical, three feet tall by two feet wide, robot. Our prototype does not depict this size, but rather a more miniature size for explanation. The prototype is 7 inches tall by 4 inches wide in size. The robot will have a built in ‘trash box’ where it will collect and store all of the waste it consumes. There will be sensors and cameras placed on the front and sides of the inside of the prototype. The final prototype image is here:
